Press Release Friday January 10th 2003  [900 words]

MOSES LAKE, WA. The Interstate Traveler Project will debut in the great
state of Washington with a proposal to the Washington State Ports on January
10, 2003, for the ports to own and manage the world's first solar/hydrogen
powered switchable maglev rail mass transit system.

"In contrast to other maglev systems installed in the world, The Interstate
Traveler provides a more complete service. Some systems cost as much as $18
million per mile for only 25 miles of track, and a few large rail cars,"
said Justin Sutton, founder of The Interstate Traveler Project, "the
Washington Interstate Traveler (WIST) system will furnish over 300 miles of
rail including 20 miles of side track, 44 cloverleaf stations, 444
pedestrian cars, 400 car ferries, and much more for less than $10 million
per mile." By contrast, the recently approved "conventional rail" Seattle
Monorail system is projected to cost $2 billion.

"The unique element of the Interstate Traveler System" continued Justin
Sutton, "is the Return on Investment. Our Rail Conduit Cluster systems can
be tailored to fit any metropolitan environment and still have an ROI near
ten (10) years, with two and a half (2.5) years until operational."

The Washington Interstate Traveler (WIST) will originate in MOSES LAKE, WA,
spring east toward Spokane, west toward Seattle, with opening ceremonies
projected for December 10, 2005.

"We are proud to work with the great State of Washington." said Lark
Samouelian, founder of Samouelian Communications, Inc., consultant to the
Interstate Traveler Project.

State PORTS and counties are offered this historical opportunity to form a
PORT TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY for this groundbreaking system.  The current
Spokane to Seattle WIST project invites: Chelan, Douglas, Grant, King,
Kittitas, Lincoln, Pierce, Snohomish, Spokane, and Yakima counties to join
together in the success and benefits. The Interstate Traveler Project is in
contact with Venture Capital sources eager to underwrite this cost effective
and revolutionary transportation system.

The Interstate Traveler Project will serve thousands of pedestrians, and
thousands of people who will ride in the comfort of their own cars. The
WIST will furnish a perpetual revenue stream for the Washington State
Ports, which will own and manage the Interstate Traveler Rail System and
the utilities that fuel its operation.  Participating municipalities will
enjoy the benefits of happy customers, and business will thrive.

The anticipated revenue stream will pay for the system in ten years with a
transportation cost a fraction of conventional transportation modes that
operate at barely one-quarter the average speed of the Interstate Traveler.
Being a solar/hydrogen system, the Interstate Traveler will significantly
reduce air pollution.

Expecting the Seattle to Spokane system to grow into a statewide
transportation network, it will make Seattle to Spokane a two-hour commute
and make nearly every in-state destination, for work or recreation, possible
for a day's outing.

"This will dramatically change the landscape of Washington State," said
Martin D. Ringhofer from Soap Lake and leading champion for the creation of
a Port of Sun Lakes, "by making it possible and very affordable for
Washingtonians to live or work in Seattle and Spokane, and create a huge
boom and growth in tourism for most Eastern Washington towns, currently
suffering a loss in population and services."

"Many city centers are suffering from a lack of people where urban sprawl
has left our great cities with empty buildings" said Justin Sutton, adding
"we can help fix that problem. and for all the entertainment venues and
recreation in Spokane, Seattle, and smaller towns like Soap Lake and
Ephrata, WIST will pack the house and produce great economic benefits from
increased tourism."

By integrating the best technology available in the world, the Interstate
Traveler Project will create America's most advanced transportation service
moving people, products, automobiles and energy within the Conduit Cluster.
All Interstate Traveler features are fully automated using TCP/IP technology
such as automatic routing.

The Interstate Traveler network sets itself apart from all other powered
switchable maglev rail mass transit systems by providing
inter-urban/inter-city pedestrian, transport and automobile transit services
while simultaneously producing, storing and distributing hydrogen as an
alternative energy resource.

Deep into the proposal process, the State of Michigan recognizes the need
for meeting the impending national traffic crisis with a state wide outreach
campaign to use the Interstate Traveler as an environmentally friendly
upgrade to the major highway corridors.  With hundreds and eventually
thousands of maglev rail cars to be built, the automotive and aerospace
industries will have production lines busy for years to come.

"As travel on Michigan's roadways is expected to grow by 25% in the next 20
years, we have a responsibility to provide a modernized method of
transportation available to all citizens. The Interstate Traveler Project
is a new, exciting alternate energy endeavor worthy of discussion," said
Michigan District 55 Representative Gene DeRossett

CLEAN, QUIET, SAFE, RELIABLE AND FAST!

The Interstate Traveler Project aims to be the least expensive and most
universal form of public conduit to move people by maglev technology, and
simultaneously provide structural conduit for the distribution of
electricity, potable water, liquid waste, fiber optics, hydrogen, other
liquid and vapor based fuels, as well as provide supplemental municipal
infrastructure for areas without gas, water, sewer and electricity, and
supply increased capacity and redundancy for existing utility
infrastructures.
